CLONIGER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

John Burroughs QB Duncan Cloniger nabbed a share of the first weekly award of the season. Elite Football Academy announced Cloniger as the Co-Offensive Player of the week. Duncan shares the award with his good friend CBC Quarterback Patrick Heitert.

Cloniger's stat line week one was impressive and efficient.

6 for 6 with 5 touchdowns. 263 yards.

Even more impressive is that he managed all that in one quarter and one drive as Coach Merritt went to backup QB Joe Baur early in the second quarter.

Cloniger will be back in action tomorrow against Brentwood.

In his last appearance against Brentwood (2019) Cloniger was 11 of 14 for 199 yards and 2 TD's.
