NEWCOMERS CATCH FIRE IN BOMBERS OFFENSE

Duncan Cloniger, Caleb Merritt, Adisa Roberts and Jon Buhro have been fixtures as playmakers on the Bombers offense for several years. On Saturday Bomber fans were introduced to a new wave of offensive playmakers.
When the contest between Burroughs and Brentwood concluded Andrew Arnold, Brandon Biggs, Billy Sinton, Kortland Ware and Ramzi Salem had a combined 336 yards of total offense. They also had a combined three touchdowns.
On a rainy day you don't expect much from a passing game, but the John Burroughs Bombers would not be denied.
Senior Andrew Arnold along with Sophomores Salem and Ware were impressive through the air for the Bomber passing attack. The trio totaled 12 catches for 231 yards. The Brentwood defense never seemed to be able to catch up to any of the three. Arnold did his share in the running game as well. He, Biggs and Sinton combined for 100 yards in the ground game.
Adding these weapons to an already loaded set of receivers will make the Bombers a challenging opponent every week.
